Carrot With Tapioca Gruel     6 .

This recipe is good to treat diarrhoea for babies.

300 ml water

200 gr carrots

15 gr tapioca

a pinch of salt (optional)

1.Wash and peel the carrots

2.Cut tem into thin  slices

3.Cook the vegetables for 1 hr.

4.After 3/4 of the cooking time, add the tapioca slowly

5.Mix well

6.leave to cool and put them in the mixer  

 

Green Vegetables Gruel    6

50 gr carrots

50 gr zucchini

Several lettuce leaves

1 branch of parsley

1/2 lt. water

1.Peel the carrots and zucchinis and cut them into find slices. 

2.Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly

3.Cook at low heat for 2 hrs.

4.Pass it to a siever and let cool

 

Apple stew with cinnamon         6

100 gr apples

a pinch of cinnamon

1 to 2 tbsp or water

1.Wash and peel the apples

2.Cut them into thin slices and take out the hard part near the core.

3.Cook them with water in a saucepan , stir them from time to time for 15 to 20 mn.

4.Add the cinnamon during the half time before cooking.

Ages 3-5 months

Cream Of Vegetales With Chicken         6

15 gr chicken breast

50 gr carrots

50 gr leek

salt (optional)

2 tbsp non sweetened condensed milk

1/4 lt of water

1.Wash the vegetables, cut carrots into thin slices and the leek into thin  shreds

2.Put them in a pot and cook a t low heat for approx. 1 hr

3.Add the chicken after 45 min of cooking time

4.Leave to cool and put them in the mixer

5.Pour in the condensed milk and serve immediately

Mashed Vegetables             6

30 gr minced meat (beef, chicken, or lamb)

50 gr potatoes

100 gr carrots

1 tbsp butter

1.Wash the potatoes and put them in a pot filled with water

2.Boil lfor 15-20mn at low heat

3.Wash and peel the carrots and cut them into thin slices 

4. Braise the carrots and the minced meat with 3 tbsp of water (you can cook all these ingredients except the butter for 6 mn using microwave oven)

5.Mash the carrots and the meat

6.Peel the potatoes and mash them

7.Add the butter and the mashed carrot mix   to the mashed potatoes.

 

Mashed Fennels              6

This recipe is good to prevent colic

50 gr potatoes

100 gr fennels

1 tbsp butter

a pinch of cumin powder or cumin graines

1.Wash the potatoes and peel them

2.Cut them into 2 cm cubes

3.Wash the fennels and throw away any brownish parts

4.Boil the vegetables in 2 tbsp water fpr 15 mn at low heat (7-8mn in a microwave oven by adding 3 tbsp of water)

5.Take out the cumin graines (if using grains). Mash the vegetables and add butter

*always becareful not to put potatoes in a mixer for it may cause the potatoes to be gluewy!

Age 5-6 months

Pumpkin Soup                  66

200 gr pumpkin

1/3 lt milk for baby

1 egg yolk (battered)

nut of butter (size of a nut)

1.Peel and deseed the pumpkin

2.Cut pumpkin in cubes and boil them for 15mn

3.Throw the water away and dry out the pumpkin

4.Put the pumpkin in the mixer

5.Add the milk and the yolk

6.Put all the ingredients back on the stove and cook at low heat for another 15 mn

7.Add butter before serving

 

Hake Fish with Breadcrumbs          66

20 gr filet of hake (any white flesh fish will do; cod, haddock)

150 gr potatoes

3 tbsp milk

1 tsp breadcrumbs

nut of butter

1 tsp lemon juice

salt (optional)

1.Cook the fish in a court bouillon (boil the fish) until cook (8-10 min)

2.Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into thin slices

3.Boil potatoes for 12-15min

4.Mash the potatoes and add the milk

5.Mix well

6.Put the fish in the mixer

7.Grease a small earthenware or pyrex dish with butter

8.Put a layer of mashed potatoes, a layer of fish, and another layer of mashed potatoes into the dish

9.Sprinkle with lemon juice and the breadcrumbs

10.Brown the top in the oven

Cereal Porridge                  6

25 gr of cereals (oatmeal, rice,any kinds of cereals will do)

200 ml milk

1 banana

1 tsp honey

1.Grind the cereals into a fine flour in a coffee grinder

2.Mix the flour and the milk in a saucepan and boil at low heat

3.Cook the porridge for 4-5 min at low heat and stir

4.Add honey

5.Mash the banana with the help of a fork and add it to the porridge

6.If serving in a bottle , mash the banana into a puree.

Apple Porridge          6

2 tbsp oatmeal

200 ml milk

1 small sweet apple

1.Put the  milk and oatmeal in a pot and bring it to boil

2.Take off from the stove after 1 mn and leave it for 3-4min with the lid covered.

3.Wash the apples and peel

4.Grate the applesvery finely and add to the porridge

Age 6-7 months

Banana Porridge              6

20 gr corn flakes

1 tbsp butter

125 ml of water

100 gr banana

1.Mix water and the corn flakes in a pot

2.Bring it to boil at low heat

3.Let it cook for 1-2mn and take it off from the stove

4.Cut the banana and put in the pot

5.Add the butter and mash all the ingredients with a masher or with a fork. Whisk it.

Cream of Chicken Soup              66

20 gr chicken beast

Several lettuce leaves

30 gr carrots

30 gr turnips

50 gr zucchinis

3 tbsp concentrated milk

1/3 lt of water

1.Wash the vegetables and peel

2.Cut the vegetables into thin slices

3.Cut the lettuce leaves

4.Put all  the vegetables in a pot and boil at low heat for 35 min

5.At half time during cooking time, add the chinken that is cut in little pieces.

6.Let it cool and put it in a mixer

7.Add the milk and serve at room temperature.

 

Tomato Soup                  6

2 ripe tomatoes

1/3 lt of water

4 tbsp concentrated milk

1 tbsp rice cream

salt (optional)

1.Wash the tomatoes and plunge them in boiling water for a 30 seconds

2.Put under cold running water and peel

3.Cook the tomatoes with a bit  water and cook for 10 min

4.Put it in the mixer and sieve

5.Add the rice cream that is thinned out by the milk

6.Cook at low heat and continue stirring for 5 min

Poached Chicken Liver                      6

20 gr liver

a dash of lemon

a nut of butter

salt (optional)

1.Cook the liver in a slightly salted boiled water for several minutes

2.Take it off from the stove and hash it coarsely

3.Add a dash of lemon and add in the butter

4.Serve with any vegetable purée  (mash vegetables)of your choice

 

Veal With Mashed Zucchini                      66

20 gr of veal escalope

150 gr zucchinis

tarragon

a nut of butter

1.Wash the zucchinis and peel

2.Finely slice the zucchinis and steam them with the tarragon for 15 min

3.Take out the tarragon and put the zucchinis in the mixer

4.Add butter to the mashed zucchinis

5.Gril the veal without grease in a pan or a griller

6.Pass the veal through a food mill (mixer or food processor)

7.Add the veal to the mashed vegetables

 

Egg In A Nest                  66

120 gr spinach

1 tsp of lemon juice

A pinch of nutmeg

1 fresh egg

a nut of butter

1.Wash the spinach thoroughlly and cut the stems

2.Take out the big big veins of the leaves

3.Steam it for 20 min

4.Pass it through a mixer

5.Add the lemon juice and the nutmeg

6.Put the spinach in an oven dish that is greased

7.Make a pool in the middle of the spinach

8.Crack the egg in the middle of the hole

9.Cook in the oven for 8 min

 

Hamburger With Cauliflower Purée                      66

30 gr filet of beef

150 gr cauliflower

a pinch of cumin powder

a nut of butter

1.Wash the cauliflower in water with a dash of vinegar

2.Steam the cauliflower for 20 min

3.Pass it in the mixer

4.Add the butter and sprinkle with cumin

5.Mince the beef and make a small hamburger

6.Cook in a pan for 3min (each side) witout oil/grease

 

Baked Carrot Custard                          6

150 gr carrots

15 gr onion

1 egg yolk

a nut of butter

1.Peel and wash the carrots

2.Cut them into thin slices

3.Mince the onions

4.Steam the carrots for 20 min

5.Let it cool and pass it in the mixer

6.Add the egg yolk and butter and mix well

7.Put in a small bowl (custard bowl)that is for the oven

8.Place the bowl in a bigger bowl filled with water and cook with medium heat for 20 min

Ages 9-12

Pumpkin With Cheese Topping                  66

120 gr pumpkin

4 tbsp milk

100 gr potatoes

a small pinch of salt

a nut of butter

10 gr grated cheese

1.Peel the pumpkin and deseed

2.Peel the potatoes

3.Cut the vegetablesinto pieces and steam for 30 min

3.Let cool and pass the pumpkin through a mixer

4.Mash the potatoes with fork or a masher

5.Add the potatoes to the pumpkin

6.Add salt and milk and mix well

7.Place them in an oven dish that is lightly greased

8.Sprinkle with cheese and cook  in the oven until the top is golden

 

Fish Salad With Chives                      6

20 gr cod fish

1 tsp minced chives and parsley

Several dashes of lemon juice

1 tsp of sunflower oil

1.Poach the fish for 3-4min in a court-bouillon

2.Meanwhile, prepare  the vinaigrette with chives and parsley

3.Break up the fish into small pieces and mix with the vinaigrette

 

English Cream With Apple Stew                      6

100 gr apple stew

150 ml warm milk                        

1 egg yolk

1 tbsp sugar

1.Beat the egg yolk with sugar

2.Pour the milk slowly into the egg mixture and stir continuosly

3.Put it on the stove  and don't let it boil

4.Leave to cool

5.Place the apple stew in a bowl and then pour in the english cream
